Baar is coming of age, with two great wins for the new season. Two weeks ago it was a hard fought win against RU Zurich, 25-14, with the forwards taking the ball up and busting through their line. Our rucks were solid and we could really plan our attacks.

At the end of the day we went over the line 4 times, and the bad guys twice. It was a good game which set the tone for what was to come next.

On the 24th the Panthers again took to the field against a local club, the Zug Bombers. All the hard work that had gone on before was on display for this day. Everyone knew what to do, and did it. At the end the Panthers scored 14 unanswered tries for a final score of 80. Only a couple of times did the Bombers come close to scoring but were always denied with big hits in the tackles.

Scores like this only come from hard work, knowing the game of rugby, and what and how to train. What was awesome to see was the back line passing the ball from one side of the field to the other, and back again. Beautiful to watch and great rugby. The score says it all.
